abstract = "Web service technologies such as WMS and WFS have become an active
area of research with numerous promising applications in
geotechnologies solutions. This paper presents the TerraBrasilis
QGIS Python plugin as a contribution to the adoption of open
geospatial standards which enable the use of geographical
information on GIS applications. This plugin is part of the
TerraBrasilis platform for analyzing changes in Brazils land use
and land cover. TerraBrasilis enables access and analysis of
deforestation data generated by PRODES and DETER. In the results,
we demonstrate the plugin as a viewer and analytic environment for
Brazilian Legal Amazon deforestation data.",
